For Sunday Schools While in New York last May, we bought several h unci red Sunday School books, nicely bound iu cloth and this morning we concluded to sell these books at 3 cents each in quantity to Sunday Schools. C , August 6th, Mr. Caswell M Hood. The deceased was 78 years old and up to a few years ago was a resident of this city. At the residence of herson in Wake Forest township at 0 o'clock lest Sat urday night, Mrs. M. E. Wingate, relict of the late Dr. W. M. Wingate. The funeral serv'ces took place last Sunday afternoon and were conduct ed by Prof. W. B. Royall. Yard Scavengers.
