When silver gets a little below 83 cents an ounce the silver in the silver dollar is worth just 64 cents. At 83 cents an ounce the silver dollar is worth, in trinsically, 6418 cents. What does that mean ? It means that too much silver is I eing mined for the worldV demand. It's a drug in the market- It costs.upon an average.but 41 cents. an ounce to produce and the mine owner can sell it at 83 cents and still get a cosy profit out of it.
