' The Greensboro Workman reports that on the Cape Fear and Yadkin Valley Railway , between Pleasant Gaidenand Staley, the drought has done considerable damage, but tor some distance below Siler City and up to that place tbe corn fields and meadows are looking well. Confederate -Relics &c. Oapt. Brooks earnestly requests all Confederates who have pieces of cluthiog which they wore during the war or other relics of those days of yore, to call on him at the sheriff's office by Monday at 12 m as he waits them to be present at the"camp" on Tuesday night and wear such a -tic les of clothing.
