Last night Metropolitan Hal' was

A Dividend.
At a special meeting of the Board
of Di esiova for the Atlantic and
Noi ih Carolina Railroad, held last
Wednesday a dividend of 3 per cent
on the capital stock of (he company
was declared payable on and al.er
the first of October. Of this divi
dend $40,000 will go to the State of
Noi lb Carolina which owns two

dividend evur declared by the road,
