Meeting of Trustees. A meeting of Board of Trustees of the University was held yesterday afternoon at the Executive Office, at which President Winston was au thorized to accept on behalf of the University the library of the late Dr. T. F. Wood, of Wilmington and scholarships were established in his memory. The library is a very large and interesting one and contains a large selection of books.. The schol arships are the Thos. F. Wo d schol arship and the T. F. Wood medical scholarship. Today. Is one long to be remembered by the people of Raleigh and vicinity, and it will go down into history as an eventful epoch. The weather has been all. that could possibly have been expected and the occasion has passed away, so far as is known at this writing without the slightest mishap to mar it Although in some sens, the occasion may be considered a political one, it is a source of great satistaction to know that the visitors have been received as becomes prom inent citizens of our great republic.
