The revenue nOllections for stamps
at Durham for the month of October
amounted to $76.921 94. The tax is
' ! now 6 cents. In October of last year,
when the tax was 8 cents a pound,
. the collection was $70 079.14 This Is
1 certainly a big showing for Durham
and should spur up the friends of a
new government building to renewed
exertions.
