It would require a volume to recount the numberless articles suitable for the parlor, cham ber and kitchen. 8plendid lounges, AlPimnt wardrohM luxurious chairs i elegant wardrobes, luxurious cnairs, and thousands of other magnificent i articles, all at such prices as are bound to elicit purchasers. No visi tor to Raleigh should leave without seeing the tempting show. Remem ber tbe place, south side of market square. Our Fair. There is very little to relieve the monotony of daily life at this season of the year and, unless we can have something of an exciting nature to talk about we will be in the throes of extreme dullness. Fortunately we have ft state exposition near at hand and we can do much in the way of helping out by working and talking for it. It should be remembered that much of the success of any scheme depends upon the interest in it, and the zeal attended upon those who have it in charge. Our secretary Mr Ayer has worked in and out of season for the cause, and he is Antnce oil that. AnnM .aasAnohlv Via . ... . . expected oftn!m He must have the 03 operation of our people however, . if the fair is to be all that is desired It is conceded that our crops are as good as could have been expected and our people will be in as fa orable condition to attend the fair this year 'as usual. Let all who desire to make entries secure space at once, eo that the preparations can go forward, as rapidly as possible. Let us talk op the fair and work for it.
