The acceptance of Mr Julian S Ca.r, of the presidency of the Board of Ag rlculture, is very gratifying to the people of North Carolina. F, Wilhelm, pastor of the Presbyterian church of Hillsboto, died at bis home in that town last night. Several years ago Mr. Wil helm most acceptably conducted series of meetings in the First Prest hvterlan church of this city and greatly endeared himself to the mem bers of that church and also of other churches in our city. He was a most earnest and faithful preacher and has .do doubt gone to a glorious reward , Revival services. Last night there was a tremendous crowd in attendance at the Christian church.
