Tip of -corner (one Inch from tip) "right lobe of liver opening appeared made by bullet. Pelvis of right kid ney torn "through and - artery and ureter severed. Death apparently caused by wound In kidney. J. W. McQEK, JR., Supt. Health Wake County. The bullet was of the 88 calibre type and waa blunted by the Impact with the heavy clothes worn by the dead man. There were also marks p from the fabric of .which overcoat and coat were made. Governor Glenn has said that he would immediately appoint disinter ested physicians to examine the con dition of ex-Sheriff Rowan Rogers and John Sorrell, who are serving six-months' sentences In the county jail for embracery in the Gattis Kllgo trial to see if they should be pardoned or given jail bounds. Sheriff Rogers, it is said, Is in a very bad condition, and it is thought by those who have seen him that he can not live his sentence out. Gov ernor Glenn has not yet made the investigation but says that he will do so at once. lars. Scrub Team Wins. The "scrub" foot-ball team of the A. and M. College has returned from Red Springs, where they played the North Carolina Military Academy of that place yesterday, winning . from them by a score of 27 to 0; and it is to be hoped that this victory will be duplicated by the 'Varsity to-day in Columbia with a team of the Univer sity of South Carolina.
