TWO OF BOARD
VISITS THE HOME.
Chairman L. H. Adams, of the Board
of County Commissioners, was confined
to his home to-day by Indisposition,
Prom Inquiry It appears that no special
meeting of the board will be called on
account of grand Jury's criticism of
the treatment of Inmates In the County
Home. Commissioners Broughton and
Erwards are the committee from the
I board on County Home, and they went
to the Institution to-day. They will. It
is expeded,' have a report to make
I when the board meets th first Monday
' in next month, or probably before then.
County Attorney H. E. Norris, had
not returned to Raleigh this morning.
The statement has been made and pub
lished in another paper here that only
three of the grand Jury visited the
County Home and made the inspection.
Tnis is not true, as thirteen of the eigh
teen grand jurors visited the County
Home. v ;
