Tomorrow Afternoon at 3 O'Clock From the Residence Mr.' Robert Dobbin, one of Raleigh's oldest and most respected cltisens, passed away this morning at 9 o'clock, after an illness extending over a' per iod of about two weeks. He was in his eighty-second year." - -. Mr. Dobbin was a native of Ireland, having been born In Antrim , county. where he lived until nine years of age, whtyi his parents moved to this coun try. They first settled in New York, but later moved to Richmond and then to Petersburg, Virginia. At "the age of twenty-one Mr. Dobbin married and decided to raovo further south lie started to Charleston but stoppi"! over in tho town of Iialeish. He was - pleased with the town that he re mained here and 'at the time of his death had been a resident of this city for the past sixty-one years.
