THOUGHTS.
A b&tchelor sat in his cbair and he
thought,
And he made up his mind that he
wouldn't he caught;
And yet he wanted to do what he
ought
And he thought, and he thought,
and he thought.
A little maid sat in her chair and she
thought,
For she'd made u pher mind that she
wouldn't be caught;
Yet she also wanted to do what she
ought
And she thought, and she thought,
and she thought.
A batchelor sat In his chair and he
thought
And a little maid sat by him-
-just
as she ought
For, alas, they forgot about not be
ing caught
But they thought, and they
thought, and they thought.

The wife of a famous
cartoonist writes us that
the best way to clean
diamonds and other pre
cious stones is to "soak
them over night in a
bowlful of Ivory Soap
and water. Shavings
of the soap dropped into
warm water are best.
In the morning, rinse
them thoroughly with
hot water, and, behold!
they are as bright as
when received from the
jewelers."
