Willimantic, Conn. "For five years
I suffered untold agony from female
troubles, causing backache, irregulari

tion. It was impossible for me to
walk upstairs
without stopping
on the way. I
tried three differ

each told me some
thing different. I
received no benefit
from any of them,
but seemed to suf

taking Lydia . Pinkham's Vegetable
compound to see what it would do,
and I am restored to my natural
health." Mrs. Etta Donovan, Box
299, Willimantic, Conn.
The success of Lydia E. Pinkham's
Vegetable Compound, made from roots
and herbs, is unparalleled. It may be
used with perfect confidence by women
who suffer from displacements, inflam
mation, ulceration, fibroid tumors, ir
regularities, periodic pains, backache,
bearing-down feeling, flatulency, indi
gestion, dizziness, or nervous prostra
tion. For thirty years Lydia E. Pinkham's
Vegetable Compound has been the
standard remedy for female ills, and
suffering wmen owe it to themselves
to at least give this medicine a trial.
Proof is abundant that it has cured
thousands of others, and why should it
not cure you?

was not on Fayetteville street or in
the neighborhood when the disturn

The judge held that it was not
necessary to examine the Witnesses
for the defense and the case, whicn
has given rise to a great deal of talk
since Mr. I'pchurch was arrested Sat
urday, was abruptly dropped.
Other cases were taken up and
settled in short order, as follows:
Fred Miller, white, pleaded guilty
of being drunk on the streets. Fined
$5 and costs.
J. A. Bailey, white, was charged
with being drunk on the streets and
with the larceny of a package of

guilty of being drunk, but his mind
was an absolute blank as to the col

no evidence of criminal intent in the
taking of the collars and the larceny
case was dismissed. He was fined 5
and costs for being drunk on the
streets. -
Henry Olive paid $2.35 for leaving
his horse unblocked on the streets.
Charley Sledge, colored, paid fi
fine and $2.75 costs for inviting an
other coon to a change of residence,
telling him to go at once to a very
warm unmentionable region "from
whose bourne no traveler returns."

which Alderman Upchurch was ar

told, submitted to the charge and
was taxed with costs, $2.75.

of the company are by the terms on
which the order Is allowed to re-enter
