New Bern, N. C March 7.; The
Craven County Teachers' Meeting
met yesterday in the City High

helpful address. Tais Is the last
meeting for this school year, and the
question of a Teachers' Institute was
brought up and this is the year' for it
to be held. It was decided after some
discussion that iie teachers of the
county would much prefer to have
the money spent on a Teachers' In
stitute used in helping to pay their
expenses at the ' Eastern Training
School where a summer course for
teachers will be given. The cost o;
attending the school is very low and
Greenville is so close by that the
County Board of Kducalion will no
doubt decide to hold this county's in
stitute at Greenville.
