C, May 6 Con gressman Pou has induced the weath er bureau to establish a service by which stock raisers on Xeuse river will be warned in advance of a rise in that river. At times there has been considerable loss of stock in tue river lowlands by reason of a slid don rise of the water. Hereafter no tice will be given in advance of the probable rise of the river, so that Btock raisers will have ample time to get their stock on high land out of danger of freshets in the river.
