The street committee of the board of aldermen last night heard the ad vocates and opponents of the Sea board spur rack on Salisbury -street-, hut the matter was not settled, it appears that in May- lull, the board passed ah ordinance 'requiring that the track be removed and this ot'der has never been rescinded. Whether or not it is possible for the city, even if it is so desired, to allow a rail road to use the streets or sidewalks was referred to the city attorney, Mr. W. H. Pace, who will render an opinion. Several opinions of the supreme court were quoted to sustain points brought oat by both the advocate? and opponens of the track.
