At the meeting of the State Execu tive Committee, held in .Raleigh on February 9th, 10th, and 21th, a resolu tion wa9 passed instructing nie to notify the Alliance brethren of North Caro lina that they do not approve of the establishing of tore? by the National Union Company, of New York, in this State, and that the State Alliance is in no way responsible for the action of said National Union Company. It is hoped that the brethren will be guided by this timely warning of our State Executive Committer, and that they :n j 1 t t . t-a V present uusi- people. b raternally, W. H. Worth, S.'B. A. TO THE BRETHREN. I have made contract to have our fertilizer manufactured for 192 by the Durham Fertilizer Company. I will distribute this year from Richmond and Portsmouth, Va., and Durham and Wilmington, N. C, thereby supplying in every section of the State at lowest possible freight rates. The goods can be placed at many depots at a smaller cost on account of freights than last year, though material has advanced in yrice. Stand by the resolution passed at our annual meeting at Morehead City, in August, and we will win as we did in the jute bagging trust. There was great opposition to us tneu, uuu still there is, but stand true to our Alliance nrinciDles and all will work out to the good of each member of the Order, to the State and Nation. 1. raternally, W. H. Worth, S. B. A. TO SUB-BUSINESS AGENTS. I have sent out, through the State Secretary, to each Sub Secretary, for tne Jtmsiness Agent or eacn sud-alliance in the State, a bond to be filled up and sent to me, and when it is accepted by mo, each Sub Business Agent can trade direct with this office and maka his payments inside of thirty days from date of each bill. Each Sub-Alliance that will accept the advantages of this offer can get their goods at wholesale prices and will be a blessing to the corn munitv m which said Sub-Alliance is located. Each Business Agent of Sub Alliance is requested to call on his Sec retary and get said bond, and then he can execute it or not, as he prefers. Jiy this arrangement you can get the full benefit af the fund contributed by the brethren and Sub-Alliances. Fraternally, W. H. Worth, S. B. A. CHANGE OF APPOINTMENTS. Bro. J. P.
