D. Harris, B. L. Bragg, D. W. Eakes. On motion L.'D. Knott was exempt from poll tax for past four years on account of being at school. It was ordered that a road from Morton's store to C. G. Stovall's mail box be granted, the county to donate $50 towards this road. With no cost to the county as to road bed, soil or other damages. Dr. G. T. Rikes and Mr. Howard Garner were appointed a committee to have the old Oxford and Raleigh road scraped 30 feet wide a distance of about 2 miles from Joe Wheel ous to Wake County line. Luke Brooks was granted a rebate of $1,80 error in list taker. The road that connects the Law rence bridge and Creedmoor road with the Fellowship road is this day declared a public road. The road leading from J. N. Tilley's mail box to J. II. Cash's mail box be declared a public road. The Levy of 1914 tax was order ed to "remain at the same rate as 1913, except special school tax. Ordered that Graham Jones in charge of road force be paid $50 per month. It was ordered that the Clerk pay Frank Meadows $250 for all "dam ages and also the cost- of action for damages. The usual donation . of $15 wa3 granted to the Colored Fire Com pany of Oxford. A large number of claims against the county were allowed.
