tion ot Charles 11, when an uncondition
al amnesty was granted, and on the ac

These amnesties were not acts of royal

which made them continuing.

opinion of Judge Jackson, of West Vir

which he takes similar ground.
The case was then continued until this
morning, at 10 o'clock,' when Mr. James
Lyons will speak in favor of the petition
ers and Mr. L. II. Chandler on behalf
