The court room, crowded to suffocation leaned for ward in s breathless expectancy. The prisoner was asked if he had counsel. He replied that he did not have and did not want any. Morehead speak ing for the counsel said that he was placed in - the peculiar posi tion of wishing to enter one plea while his client wished to enter another as he could not conscien tiously enter the plea his client wished to enter he asked along with Mr. Satchwell t be excused.
