There is nothing, perhaps, that will help so much to bring about good times as to spend your mon ey in the home market. If you need any kind oi merchandise ouy it from your . home merchants. The home merchants should in turn buy their supplies at or as near home as possible. This , is especially true of the gi-ocerymen. The easy circulatiojVof money meansLgood times. Money can not circulate easy if sent ,away irom nome. many, iu is lu ub io- " , . W V f . . i, . ets, or rL may be to other markets, for the same article that might - be purchased here, and often get an inferior article and y pay more for it. This is entirely Vong and does not pay. For a slight differ ence in the shade of a color goods are ordered from another market, ami the money sent away. A policy of this kind will continue the cry of hard times. If your neighbor looks well in a certain shade or color of dress you are likely to look just as well, although it may not seem so to you; Don't go away from home to buy your goods. What we want is to keep our money here. The Salisbury merchants have almost everything you need. Buy from them. They ask for your trade, and should have it. The same rule ' should govern our citizens with the home manufacturers where their can be handled. e. The Sun called attention to this matter on one or more occasions during last year. It emphasizes if a lmnnrfnnrft nornin nnd it will hft glad if its' efforts contribute any thing towards encouraging the citizens to purchase from the home merchants. bills ofl Being Felt by Some Winston Sentinel. . le need not think that be- away from the coast be felt in this section.. that the furniture s in High Point aire a grekt many orderscoun- Some of their largest sale have; been cancelled in this wiy.
