The deceased was the daughter of Mr. Robert Gilmer, now JM.) years old and the only re maining member 6f the Gilmer family of his generation. His brother, Jphri A. Gilmer, Gener al Jeremy Gilifier and Joseph Gil rnqr, all. -died several years Miss, Gilmer was about 63 of age. , She spent her early and middle life in teaching, but of f en and few ago. irs yei late years had devoted herse tirely to her aged father mother. The latter died a years, ago. Miss Gilmef is well remembered here, having taught school in the Presbyterian high school for two sessions. Her many friends in Salisbury will regret' to hear of her death. She was a most esti mable lady and was held in high esteem by all who knew her.
