Linn, 'Esq., represented the State. After deliberation Mr. Miller announced that he would r fix Gheen's bond at $5C0 and the bond of James Earnhardt at $250. It Is Decided to Keep 40,000 Soldiers in the Philippines. Washington, Oct. 16 It was decided today not to permit the contemplated reduction of the military forces in the Philippines, owing to fear of further outbreaks. Five youths from 17 to 20, were arrested at the depot last night for vagrancy. The j'oung. men when telling their tale of woe stated that they were from the West ard had joined Robinson's circus. In the particular-capacity in which they were employed they found the circus business unprofit able and decided to return home. This morning Mayor Boyden de cided that in view of the fact that they "were try;ng to get home he discharged them.
