day a hunt was made for it. It
was found coiled up near the spot
whore lit had been seen theevening
before and was shot by Mr. M.
'Lusher Lingle. The- snake- was
four fet long and had thirteen
rattles and a button, making it 14
years old. It was exhibited here
and attracted a large crowd.
