C., Feb. 14 An important meeting of the Char lotte Chamber of Commerce b as been called for Friday night for the purpose of taking some action against the proposed bill before the Legislature which recommends doubling the tax on cotton .mill and other stock. The meeting is called by the President, Mr, F. C. Abbott at the request of Pres J.. H. McAden of the Southern Cot ton Spinners Association.
