C, are now living with Mr. Jordan in the brick bulldirig corner of Church an 4 Council Streets. "THE REVOLUTION OF '61" Raleigh, March 11. The discovery was made yesterday by the Code Com mission that the legislature which; ad journed Monday passed a local act in such a way that it' applies to .the whole State and prohibits ' hunting except fnim November 20 to January 20. The act is No. 903, to regulate hunting and fishing in Lanesboro township, Anson County. The first section provides that it shall be tin lawful to hunt, 'trap or ffsh on the lands of another in Lanesboro town ship, Anson county -without the con ent of the landowner. The second section provides that it shall be unlaw ful to kill any partidge, quail, snipe, deer, wild turkey, wild duck or other game birds save from November. 20 to January 20 next succeeding of each year. There is no clause limiting he section to Anson' county and there fore under the ruling of the Supreme Ceurt in the matter of the noted anti jur law e&se it applies to 'the State at larre.
