Lewis was re-elected superintendent of Oakdale Cem etery. Mr. Jas. O'Carroll was re-elected city drayman. Mr. J. S. Campbell was elected keeper of the city clock. The Board then adjourned, subject to a call from the Mayor. By 'phone we learn this morn ing of the death .of Mr. W. J. Archbell, of Bath, last night at 11 o'clock. Mr. ArchUell was one of Beaufort county's most substantial farmers and oldest citizens. By ancestry he was connected with the pioneer he roes that settled old Bath and laid the foundations for that lib1 erty we today enjo3T. Although about h5 years of age, he was active and moved about with the vigor of a man of fifty until a short time ago, and suddenly went to the good man's reward from an accute attack of asthma last evening.
