Warrenton, No ble Lesson T. GIBBS above and beyond physical lile and death he knows in himself that he is living a life hid with Christ in God. It is better for us here to believe as we do. It gives us hope that wrongs herP will be righted hereafter. If death ends all we cannot be losers, if it does not the infinite gain is ours Even science determining by outer facts considivs strongly probable good in deciding 'f.al issues. The sum of this teaching is a subjective and personal experience of Oneness, in our measure, with God. Into our sinful Uvea as soon as we would beUeve in Christ comes the Divine life, and we have since grown like our Lord and our obligation is to serve Him. We need more of His patience, His resignation. His wlilingness to "be made perfect through suffering. We need to get more fully into His work of reconciling the world to God. It may be admitted that some are saved who have little, if any, of this witness in themselves. Unfaithfulness may render less clear this inward testimony. These are all their life time in bondage unto fear. But it is the privilege of every believer in Christ to have this witness in himself. And God I puts a premium, on such and one. He calls him "My treasure,'' and relerring to the Judgement says, ' He shall be mine." There was to Enoch nothing more real than the pvesence of his personal God. Paul had a like experience of Christ who lived in l.im. AU along this ha3 been the experience of believing souls. Wise Items The young people of this comfmunity enjoyed the privilege of four days in a splendid study course, ending Wednesday evening with about twerty taking examinations, followed by a short social period with light refreshments. Not by any means the least attraction of this :ourse was the fact that it was taught by the Associational president Mr. John Edwards of Louis! iurg. who used as his text book, "Investments in Christian Living."
