At a meeting of the two churches, it was decided i' that the parsonage should be built in Inez with Shady Grove being responsible for the construction of the building and Bethlehem for the furnishing | of the home. I' The story of the building of 1, the parsonage was this week!! told by a member of the con-1 gregation as follows: Mr. and Mrs. J. T. Harris.; beloved members of Shady \ Grove, generously gave an! acre of land directly across!J the highway from the church! as a lot for the parsonage. In! | July further plans were made! and committees appointed, a! fund-raising committee, a build-! ing committee, a furnishing j committee, and appointment of'] Mrs. W. L. Harris. The'' ladies of the church began a series of sales, suppers, parlies to raise money for the auilding fund. Interested' friends from all over North Carolina and throughout the , United States generously gave ionations. Other Warrenton, friends, especially, most graciously have aided in this undertaking. Each member of the Beth- " lehem-Shady Grove Charge is i proud of and grateful for this' nice parsonage. We realize it is the results of the dreams.! prayers and hard work of our i dedicated pastor, all our mem-: bers and our many Christian friends.
