Clinic D Postpon< The pre-school examination clinic, orginally scheduled to be held for white school beginners on April 25, has been postponed until Tuesday, May 16, Dr. W. B. Jones, director of the Warren County Health Department, said yesterday. In making the announcement of the postponement. Dr. Jones said that parents of children which will enter the Littleton, Norlina, Macon, Afton-Elberon, and Warrenton's Mariam Boyd schools are requested to have their children at the annual clinic on the new date. Dr. Holt reviewed the history of the John Graham High School, mentioning its origin before the University of North Carolina was chartered, and quoted from the curricular of the John Graham Academy in 1915 when it was recognized as one of the best preparatory schools in the state. We should adopt the best features of this program, he said. The formation of a junior high school at Macon is only the first, but a most important part of a plan to improve the operation of the John Graham High School to which many of i the junior high school students will return, Dr. Holt Holt said. He said that the appointment of Fate King as principal of the Macon School would be an advantage because of his proven ability to handle boys of this group and because of the assistance he could give to a physical education program at Macon.
