Miss Clarke Speaks At Club Meeting A teenager's opinion of some of the ways in which adults can help and understand youth was the topic of an interesting talk given by Miss Dinah Clarke, a member of the Jun ior Class at the Norlina High School, to members of the Lit erature and Music Club. She was introduced by Mrs. G. B. Harris, who was in charge of the program on "Home Life." The meeting was held In the home of Mrs. L. W. Bowers with Mrs. Harris as co-hostess. The Bowers' home was beau tifully decorated in a Valen tine motif. After a business session conducted by Mrs. Dwight Scotten, the hostesses served a delicious iced course with straws and coffee. RAY GENE I.EDFORD Nancy Jo Paschall And Ray Gene Ledford Wed In a ceremony of beauty and dignity, which took place on Saturday evening at 7:30 in < Zion Methodist Church, Miss Nancy Jo Paschall became the' bride of Ray Gene Ledford. The bride is the daughter of i Mr. and Mrs. Alton William Paschall of Norlina and the' groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs John T. Ledford of Moultrie, Ga. The Rev. D. F. Funderburk officiated. The bride, given In marriage I by her father, wore a gown of silk taffeta, styled with a por-l trait neckline re-embroidered with heirloom lace and seed^ pearls. Lace appliqued on the! molded bodice accented the bouffant skirt, which ended in i a Cathederal train. Her finger-j tip veil cascaded from a head-| piece of taffeta and seed pearls. Adcock with Mrs. Mae Gums as co-hostess. Mrs. Larry Bryson Entertains Circle Mrs. Larry Bryson was hos tess to members of the Lottie Moon Circle at her home on Monday evening. Mrs. Ira Weaver presided in the ab sence of the chairman, Mrs. Howard Edmonds. It was announced that the Lottie Moon Circle will have charge of the church nursery the second Sunday in each month. The Rev. Larry Bryson taught a portion of the Home Mission book, "Glimpses of Glory," by C. C. Warren. At the conclusion of the meeting, the hostess served banana loaf topped with whipp ed cream to the seven present Mrs. Edmonds will entertain the circle in March. Zion WSCS Meets At Robinson Home The Zion WSCS held Its reg ular monthly meeting on Mon day evening at the home of Misses Willie and Pannie Rob inson with 14 attending. The meeting was presided over by Mrs. W. F .Rookerand the program on "The Mission of the Church of Christ in Latin America" ?" was presented by Miss Willie Robinson.
