Of special interest to the
children of Yancey Kindergar
ten on Thursday was a visit
to Miss Erzards' first grade
room at the Norlina school.
They shared with the first
grade children some of the
songs, poems and games they
had learned during the year.
After the trip to school they
visited the Norlina Library
where Mrs. J. Fred Bobbitt
discussed the proper use of the
library with them and then she
presented them with favors
and a book mark.

Norlina Baptist Church held
their regular meetings this
week in homes of members as

Mrs. John E. Bobbitt was
hostess to members of the
Lola-Sue WMS Circle at her
home on North Street on
Monday afternoon at 3 o'clock.
Mrs. R. H. Fuller, circle
chairman, opened the meeting
with scripture reading, follow
ed with prayer by Mrs. J. C. |
Pridgen. For the program,;
Mrs. Fuller discussed the topic, j
"Trumpet Sounded." by C. C. I
Warren. Mrs. J. W. Arnold
gave a story from the "Royal
Service," "A Pastor Bears Wit
ness," by the Rev. Otis Wil-j
liams.

coffee to the 13 members
present.
