The couple will make their home in Norlina. Reids Observe Golden Wedding Anniversary Mr. and Mrs. H. P. Reid of Warrenton observed their Gol den Wedding Anniversary on Sunday afternoon and evening by entertaining 400 relatives and friends in their home. A yellow motif was used throughout the home with lighted tapers, appointments ot yellow flowers, golden cloths and wedding bells. Magnolia leaves and gold bells were used at the entrance of the home. Guests were greeted by Mrs. Timothy Thompson of Warren ton and Mrs. W. H. Reid of Dillon, S. JACKIE RAY HUNDLEY Juanita Jones Married In Afternoon Wedding The marriage of Miss Edith Juanita Jones to Jackie Kay Hundley was solemnized Sun day afternoon at 4 o'clock in Calvary Methodist Church near Littleton. Mr. and Mrs. John Fabius Jones of Route 3, Littleton, are the bride's parents. The bridegroom is the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Walter Mon roe Hundley and a nephew of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Claude Hundley of Draper. The Rev. Arthur W. Win stead, pastor of the church, of-j ficiated at the double-ring cer emony. Emerald Palms, fern, and; baskets of white gladiolas and asters with spiral candelabrum bearing burning tapers were used to decorate the altar for J the ceremony A program of nuptial music j was presented by Mrs. William H. Perkinson of Norlina, or-' ganists, and Mr. Garland S. May, Jr., of Littleton, soloist. Selections included "Because" and "The Lord's Prayer." Given in marriage by her. father, the bride wore a gown of Chantilly lace and satin.' The fitted lace bodice over satin was designed with a Sabrina neckline, outlined with lace motifs, delicately em broidered with seed pearls and irridescent sequins. The long fitted sleeves ended in calla points over the hands. The bouffant skirt of satin with lace panels extended into a full-length train. Her two tier fingertip veil of silk illu sion was attached to a lace crown embroidered with seed pearls and sequins. She car ried a cascade of phalaenopsls orchids and lily of the valley. Mrs. Aaron Hudson Callihan of Walstonburg attended her sister as matron of honor. She wore a street-length dress of Monte blue silk organza over taffeta, fashioned with a bouf fant skirt. The bodice featur ed a scoop neckline, dipping to a V at the back. The shirred cumberbund was accented in the back with a cluster of self rosettes. The nosetlp veil of silk illusion was attached to a cluster of matching organza rosettes tipped with seed pearls. She carried a cascade of white Marguerite daisies and blue delphinium. Bridesmaids were Mrs. Hub ert Harold Stanley of Fayette ville and Mrs. Joel Blanney Hudson of Newport News, Va. They wore dresses and carried bouquets identical to those of the matron of honor. Junior bridesmaids were Miss Peggy Wilson of Littleton and Miss Sally Myrick of Roanoke Rap ids, both cousins of tire bride. They wore dresses of Romance blue silk organza, styled iden tical to the other attendants and carried smaller cascades. Joseph Claude Hundley of Draper, uncle of the groom, served as best man. Ushers were Aaron Hudson Callihan of Walstonburg, brother-in-law of the bride, Bobby Stegall of Warrenton, cousin of flH bride. Dr. William Herbert Lewis, Jr., of Columbia, South Carolina, and Raenard Walker of Colonial Heights, Va. For her daughter's wedding, Mrs. Jones wore a lace dress of Serenade blue over taffeta - Hundley, the bridegrooms aunt, wore a Powder blue dress with white accessories. Both wore corsages of carna tions. Mrs. Carl Myrick acted as mistress of ceremonies. Following the ceremony, the couple received in the vesti bule of the church. For a wedding trip to Flor ida, the bride changed to a cinnamon punch-silk dress with a printed jacket. She wore matching accessories and the orchid lifted from her bridal bouquet. The bride received a B. S. degree in Business Education and English from East Caro lina College in Greenville. She was a member of the Beta Kappa Chapter of Pi Omega Pi, national honorary business fraternity, and Phi Beta Lamb da. The bridegroom is also a graduate of East Carolina Col lege with a B. S. degree in Business Education. For the coming year, both are employed by the Colonial Heights High School, Colonial Heights, Virginia, where the bride will teach English and the bridegroom commercial. The couple will reside at 209B Jefferson Avenue, Colonial Heights, Virginia, upon return ing from their wedding trip. Couple Feted After Wedding Rehearsal On Saturday night, following the rehearsal of the Hundley Jones wedding, Mrs. Wilbur Edward Myrick, Sr., of Wel don, Mrs. William Bowers Wil son of Littleton, and Mrs. Rob ert Malcon Stegall of Warren ton entertained the wedding party and a few close friends. and relatives at a cake-cutting at the Calvary Community j Building.' Upon arrival, Miss) Jones was presented a corsage j of carnations. The refreshment table was covered with an imported cloth and pink net accented by rib-' bon bows. It was centered with an arrangement of white! fugi mums and asters, flanked! by three-branched silver can-| delabra bearing tall pink light-j ed tapers.
