Friday. The club will meet on next Thursday, No vember 29. The game was a back and forth battle most of the night, with Warrenton gett ing its winning margin late in the final period on a pass interception that set up a touchdown. With Warrenton leading 21-19 in the fourth quarter, Wakelon recovered a fumble on Warrenton's 38 yard line. But on the next play Warrenton halfback John Coleman intercepted a Wake lon pass and raced 55 yards to Wakelon's 10-yard line and setting up what proved to be the winning points. From the 10, Coleman carried twice, finally going over from the five. Warrenton started fast, scoring two touchdowns in the opening period to take a 14-6 lead. Early in the first period, the Jackets drove 63 yards to score, with fullback Steve Clark going over from 12 yards out. Coleman, who ran the point after, highlight ed the drive with runs of 23 and 10 yards. Wakelon didn't waste time in coming back with a touch down, but their extra point attempt failed, so Warrenton held a 7-6 lead. Randy Creech, who scored all four Wakelon touchdowns, climax ed a 38-yard march, sweeping ? ?nd for aiM yard* and a ID. After Wakeloo'a Mora, they off and (Hark return ed the ball OB yard* (Or a Jacket touchdown. Halfback A1 Blaloek tallied the con version. The Yellow Jackets continued their fierce attack in the second period, coins 58 yards to score again, this time with quarterback Billy Benson passing IB yards to outstanding end Roddy Drake. Coleman plunged for the ex tra point to, give Warren ton a 21-6 lead. Wakelon refused to be counted out, as all-conference Tommy Wood went to work, driving the Bulldogs 59 yards to score . With only 40 sec onds remaining in the half. Wood hit Creech with a 22 yard scoring pass. Neither team managed to score in the third period, as the ball traded hands several times, but early in the fourth period Wakelon put together another touchdown march, that put them within two points of Warrenton. Creech capped this 55 yard drive with a five plunge. After that touchdown came the quick changing of hands, as Wakelon recovered a War renton fumble, and then lost the ball on Coleman's inter ception. After the intercep tion, the touchdown actually put Wakelon out of the game. Wakelon came back mak ing a vital last attempt, but they just couldn't quite make it. Wood passed to Creech for Wakelon's fourth touch down on a 25-yard play, but after that only a minute and ten seconds remained, which Warrenton burned up on the ground. Coach Pc/ker said, "It was one of our better efforts and I'm real pleased. Sophomore halfback Coleman did a tre mendous job for us on of fense, while our entire line played good defense. Pass defense was our biggest prob lem." Arthur L. Prid&en Dies In Florida Arthur Lee Pridgen, 68, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. W. H.
