BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the Town of Warrenton, as follows: Section 1 The Board of Commissioners of the Town of Warrenton has ascertained and hereby determines that it is necessary that said Town improve and enlarge the san itary sewer system maintained by the Town by the construc tion of a plant for the treat ment and disposal of sewage, including the installation of a pumping station and force main, together with the ac quisition and installation of the necessary equipment, ma chinery, and apparatus and the acquisition of any lands or rights in land required therefor. Section 2. Said Board of Commissioners has also ascer tained and hereby determines that the purpose hereinbefore described is a necessary ex pense of said Town within the meaning of Section 7 of Arti cle VII of the Constitution of North Carolina, and is a pur pose for which said Town may raise or appropriate money, and is not a current expense of said Town. Section 3 In order to pro vide funds for such purpose, in addition to any funds which may be made available for such purpose from any other source, bonds of the Town of Warrenton are here by authorized and shall be is sued pursuant to The Munici pal Fiance Act, 1921, of North Carolina The maxi mum aggregate amount of bonds authorized by this ordi nance shall be One-hundred of Louisburg and Mr and Mrs. W. Chewning said, a warrant for the arrest of Delores Davis was drawn by Mayor W. A Miles and he signed it. As she lived out side of toi'n. Deputy Sheriff Ponnie Stevenson went to the Davis home to serve the war rant. Delores Davis was not at hr.rjie. It was reported that she had left home the day before. Sheriff Jim Hundley said Wednesday that if his depart ment is unable to locate Delores Davis that assistance of the FBI would be asked. Officer Capps said that no one was at the home when he returned with Mrs. Bullock, that Mrs Bullock's daughter and mother had gone across the street to the Perry home. Officer A Littleton girl was elected an officer of the North Caro lina Division of the Children of the Confederacy held at Asheville on August 13, at which time a trophy, other awards and honors were won by the Warren County Chap ter. Miss Lyntie Mincher of Littleton, a member of the Warren County Chapter, was elected second vice president of the Children of the Con federacy for the coming year. She served as N. C. publicity chairman for the past year. Miss Panthea Anne Twitty, past division president, in stalled the new officers at the end of the convention. Her mother, Mrs Henry F I Twitty, was presented an orchid by the executive board of the North Carolina Di\ is ion. Children of the Confed eracy, in behalf of the di vision. The Warren County Chap ter won the silver trophy for the best report in the North Carolina Division for chapter with less than 25 members. Death Blamed On Natural Causes George Washington, well known Warren ton Negro, died at his home here around 6:30 a. m. last Friday. Coroner N. I. Halthcock said that Washington had ap parently gone to the refrige rator in his home for a drink of water when he suffered a heart attack, as be was lying dead on the floor in front of the refrigerator from which many articles had fall en. He said that he ruled the death was fro>n natural causes. Washington at one time had worked for Drake's Men's Wear and at the time of his death was employed by J. & R. Supermarket. Funeral services were held at Fork Chapel Church near Inez on Monday at 3 p. m.
