Rock, pastor, officiat ing. Mrs. E. L. Crawley ser ved as organist. The bride Is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Stephen A. Har vey and the bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Morris, all of Littleton. Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a white wool suit with matching acces sories and wore a corsage of two white orchids. Mrs. Jack Lyles of Dillon, S. C., sister of theUTTde, was" matron of honor. Michael Scott Lyles, nephew of the bride, was ring bearer. The bridegroom's father was best man and ushers were Allen and Albert Glasgow, twin cousins of the bride, of Aure lian Springs. The bride's mother wore a beige brocade sheath with matching accessories and wore a green cymbidlum orchid. The groom's mother wore a green Irish linen dress with matching accessories and a yellow cym bidlum orchid. The bride is a graduate of Ert Carolina College, Green ville, with a B. S. degree In primary education. Prior to her marriage, she taught in the Hampton, Va. city schools and in Virginia Beach, Va. The groom Is a graduate of Littleton High School and ser ved four years with the U. S, Navy. He is employed by Porter Chevrolet, Inc., In Newark, Del aware, where the couple will reside after an Eastern Shore wedding trip. Following the wedding the bride's parents entertained at a reception at their home. The dining table was covered with an Ivy lace cloth and cen tered with an arrangement of roses and lilies of the valley and flanked with candlebra with burning tapers. Mrs. S. A. Harvey, Sr., pour ed punch and Mrs. J. Bradford Browning of Roanoke Rapids as slsted In serving wedding cake, mints and nuts. ~ ? A buffet dinner, consisting of fried chicken, Virginia baked ham, potato salad, deviled eggs and coffee, was served to ap proximately 25 out - of - town guests and member of the im mediate family. Mrs. M Reavis, Jr., Honored At Shower Mrs. Macon Reavis, Jr., of ECC, Greenville, a recent bride, was honored at a mis cellaneous shower in the Afton Elberon Clubhouse on Saturday night and was presented a cor sage of red camelias upon ar rival. Hostesses for the occasion were Mesdames Ray Frazier, Jim Llmer, Allen Campbell, Joe Andrews, Howell Steed and Miss Lula Belle Fuller. The refreshment table was covered with a white linen cloth and bore an arrangement of white bridal flowers and green ery, flanked by burning white tapers in crystal candelabra. Puch was poured by Miss Jean Reavis, sister-in-law of the honoree. Cake squares, nuts and mints were also served buffet style. About 50 guests attended. Mrs. Stuart Honored At Baby Shower A baby shower was given in honor of Mrs. Hilda Weaver Stuart of Warrenton on April 6 at the Alton Club house. Host esses were Mrs. Joyce Burton and Mrs. Julia Weaver. The clubhouse was decorated In green and white and the re freshment table bore an ar rangement of buttercups and fern and was flanked by white candles on either side. Approximately 30 people at tended and out-of-town guests were Mrs. James Braswell and Martha of Henderson. Mrs. Gray Honored At Baby Shower Mrs. Patsy Harmon Gray of Littleton and Warrenton was honored with a baby shower at the home of Mra. Julia Weaver in Warrenton on April 4. Hostesses were Mra. Wea ver, Mr*. Judy Belote, Alice Perry Overby. Decora tions ot green and jrhite were id were Intermixed with buttercups. A stork reigned over the gift table.
