Peggy Rose James Is Bride Of Mr. Agee On Saturday afternoon, July 18, at four o'clock In Oakwood Mrmorial Baptist church, Miss Peggy Rose James, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry L. James of Warrenton, became the bride of Herman Wilson Agee, Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Herman Wilson Agee, Sr., of Richmond. The church was decorated In greenery and white lighted ta pers. The double ring ceremony was performed by the Reverend S. C. Burgess of Richmond. The bride, given In marriage by her father, wore a floor length gown of sllkorganzaover taffeta wit h a portrait neckline and short sleeves. Her veil was attached to a peau de sole pill box and she carried a white prayer book topped with awhlU orchid. Miss Martha Ann Wvatt of I i Petersburg, former roommate j of the brltfe, was maid of honor. I She wore blue organza over taf i feta with a short mallne veil, j and carried a bouquet of varied I shades of Mums and pompoms. Mr. Agee, Sr., served as best man. Ushers were Fred Tyler, I Sr., of Richmond, Va., Bernard | Agee of Highland Springs, and Fred Steppe, Sr., of Lynchburg, Va. Mrs. James wore a gown of blue lace and white accessories and Mrs. Agee wore a gown of [ pink lace with matching acces sories. Each had a corsage of orchids. Mrs. Hendricks, grandmother of the groom, wore navy blue with a white corsage. For travel the bride changed to a green linen dress with white accessories and orchid lifted from her Praver Book. The bride Is a graduate of John Graham High School and Petersburg School of Nursing, and la employed at Tuckar Hos pital, inc. Peggy Mustian Is Feted At Shower Miss Peggy Mustian, August bride-elect, was honored. Sat urday night at a miscellaneous shower given by Miss Llnnea Mustian of Henderson and Miss Ellen Mustian of Warrenton. The courtesy was held at the home of Mrs. a. T. Harris, Cedarwood Dr. Henderson. Upon arrival, Miss Mustian was presented a corsage of The bride's table was laid with a white cloth. Summer i flowers were used In decorat i lng throughout the home. For entertainment the bride elect showed films of Alaska. After Miss Mustian opened her gifts, refreshments consisting of nuts, cakes, mints and punch were served to approximately thirty guests. OES Chapter Holds Meeting At Littleton Littleton ? Royal Hart Chap ter No. 20, Order of Eastern Star, of Littleton met Monday night in the Chapter Room and held its regular monthly meet-1 ing with 21 members and 17 visitors present. Miss Mary Shearln, Worthy Matron and Macon Moore, Jr., Worthy Patron, were in their respective stations and pre sided. Sixth District Deputy Grand Matron, Mrs. Edna W. Vaughan of Wilson, and District Deputy Grand Patron, Robert R. An derson of Rocky Mount, made their official visit to the chap ter. They each gave a lecture on the work of the Eastern Star and gave helpful sugges tions to the chapter. A program, "Through Our Garden" was presented by the star points honoring the guests. Mrs. Daphne P. Clark sang a solo accompanied at the piano by Mrs. Louise Williams, at the close of the program. Mrs. Alma H.
