pearls. She carried a cascade
of white Georgianna orchids,
stephanotis and pearllzed
English ivy.

white color scheme was used.
Bridal contests were played
with Mrs. Stlth Walker, Mrs.
Alton Duncan and Mrs. Charlie
Duncan as winners, who In turn
presented their prizes to the
bride-elect.
Miss Pope was Invited to the
gift table which was covered
with .a whlte cloth and centered
with Ivy at the base of a minia
ture bride and groom She was

cake knife from her hostesses

sent.
Punch was poured by Mrs.
Herbert Pope. Buttered pecans,
mints and decorated bridal cake
squares were served from a
beautifully decorated table with
mint green cloth, gardenias and
trailing Ivy. An arrangement of
gardenias, glads and fern, In a
crystal bowl, flanked by burning
white tapers In crystal cande
labra centered the table.
About 35 guests attended from
Warrenton, Macon, Wake For
est and the Churchill com
munity.
