Hawkins High School presented an assembly program, "The Christmas Story In Scripture, Song, and Tableau,'' Monday. Narrators were Carolyn King, Fred Hedgepeth and Joan Davis. Posing for the Nativity scene were: Mary, Brenda Richard son; Joseph, Emmanuel Cheek; Shepherds, Lorenzo Harris, Prentiss Williams, Kenneth Williams; Wise Men, John Branch, Wyatt Davis, Joe Jones; Angels, Nina Harris, Veronica Terry, Elizabeth Alston, Helen Brown. The choral club, under the direction of Mrs. D. T. Rich mond , furnished the music. FFA Members Collect And Repair Toys The FFA Chapter of the John R. Hawkins High Sciaol Agri cultural Department wishes to thank all the parents, students and teachers who contributed to the Collect-and-Repalr Toy Project for needy families in the school district, Principal L. B. Henderson and Vo-Ag. Teacher W. R. Price said yesterday. Through this project, many toys , such as bicycles, tri cycles, wagons, cars, scooters, and many others, were collect ed and repaired. Henderson and Price said that "The experience was new for many of the students and It added growth to their skill de velopment.
