day March 5, at 4:00 p. m.
The private ceremony was
performed by Rev. W. M. En
zor at Pilot Baptist Church,
Raleigh.
The bride wore a green wool
suit with matching acces
sories and a corsage of yel
low rosebuds.
Mrs. Murray is a graduate
of John Graham High School
in Warrenton, and Is employ
ed as secretary to a Raleigh
physician. Mr. Murray attend
ed Needham Broughton High
School, Raleigh and has just
completed three years ser
vice with the United States
Army. He is employed at
Young-Murray Auto Service in
Raleigh.
The couple will live on Shel
ley Road, Raleigh.

At Birthday Dinner

American Legion, Limer
Post, at a birthday dinner at
Colonial Lodge on Thursday
evening, March 3. Approxi
mately 60 members and guests
were in attendance.
Mrs. Hy Diamond, Auxiliary
president, welcomed the
Legionnaires and wished them
a "Happy Birthday" and Com
mander Hy Diamond gave
the response. Mrs. Roger
Limer was mistress of cere
monies and after giving a ser
ies of humorous stories, she
presented a number of gifts to
holders of lucky numbers.

11:00 in the Warrenton Bap
tist Church with the Rev. John
R. Link, pastor officiating,
Miss Delois Ann Rose,
daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
Bruce H, Rose of Warrenton
became the bride of Niles
Edward Serls, Jr.,of Warren
ton, son of Mr. and Mrs.
Serls, also of War renton.
Music was rendered by Mrs.
J. R. Link. The couple were
unattended.
The bride wore a floor
length gown of satin and lace,
scooped neckline, lily sleeves,
her full length skirt ending
in a train, and she carried a
cascade bouquet of white car
nations showered with rib
bons.
Mrs. Rose wore a light blue
dress and Mrs. Serls wore a
light green suit and each wore
a white carnation corsage.
The bride is a senior at John
Graham High School and will
graduate this spring.
Mr. Serls is also a John
Graham High School graduate
and is in the U. S. Air Force,
stationed at Homestead Air
