One of the relatively newer production practices covered in the publication is the use of pre-emergence and post emergence herbicides to con trol weeds and grasses. Such plant pests as cocklebur, morning glory and others can be controlled chemically, con tributing significantly to the farmer's chances of achiev ing high yields and higher pro fits.
