THURSDAY, DECEMBER 21, 1967 NUMBER 50 Many To Take Two-Day Holiday Several Warrenton Stores To Be Open For Business December 26 KIRK, 4, AND KIM, 3, TALK WITH SANTA CLAUS. THEY ARE THE CHILDREN OF PATROLMAN AND MRS. SAM WEBSTER OF WARRENTON. Children Meet Santa Christmas is largely for children and for this reason we are devoting our Christmas edition cover page to scenes taken of Warren County children with our own Santa Claus, who has for 55 years brought happiness to our people at the Yuletide season. Pictures on this page were taken last Friday afternoon at Santa's Booth on the court house square. With the exception of the children of Patrolman and Mrs. Sam Webster and the young daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Willis Fleming, the children are unidentified, as are a number of children whose pictures were taken at the Peck Manufacturing Christmas party on Sunday afternoon. We regret that this had to be the case, but time did not permit otherwise, as we wanted as many pic tures as possible. We hope the happiness of these children as shown on their faces as they talked to Santa Claus will bring added pleasure to all our readers.?The Editor.
