EDWARDGREEN Funeral services for Edward P. Green were held Aug. 9 at 1:30 p. m. at Christ Temple Baptist Church in Paterson, N. J. by the pastor, the Rev. F. Roberson. Mr. Green, the son of Walter and Annie Green of Macon, was born Sept. 11, 1937 in Macon. He died Aug. 7 in Paterson. At an early age he joined the New Bethel Baptist Church of Macon. He lived in Paterson for the past 22 years. He was employed as a clerk at the Paterson Post Office for 15 years. Elder Coley Perkinson officiated. Mrs. Holland is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Ava Rich of New York City. CHARLEY W. PINNELL, SR. Funeral services for Charley Wellford Pinnell, Sr., 83, of Richmond, Va., were held August 10 at 2 p. m. at the First Baptist Church in Richmond. Burial was in the Hollywood Cemetery. Pinnell was born on Christmas Day, 1887, the youngest of 12 children of the late Willis Andrew Jackson Pinnell and Maria Egerton Pinnell of Warren County He attended Warren County schools and Mart Hill College. He later moved to Richmond, Va., and sorted as a grocery clerk while he studied at Masaey Business College. He joined the Army in 1918 and in 19121 helped establish the Richmond Rubber Co. Pinnell was founder of PinneU's Inc., a cycle and sporting goods firm in < Richmond and was director of the Bicycle Institute of America and past president of the Cycle Jobbers Association of America. He was a 33rddegree Mason, past potentate of Acca Temple Shrine, a past president and secretary-treasurer of the Mid-Atlantic Shrine Association, a past president of the Sphinx Club and a past commander of the Legion of Honor. He was active in the Kiwanis Club, American • Legion Po6t 84 and was a member of the First Baptist Church where he served on the finance board for several years. Pinnell is survived by his wife, Mary Falbre Pinnell; a daughter, Barbara Pinnell Pritchard; six grandchildren and three greatgrandchildren. See Other Deaths On Page 3
