Warren County, Area Deaths And Funerals EDWIN C. ROBERTSON Funeral services for Edwin Clifford Robertson, 80, of Route 2, Warrenton, were conducted at 3 p. m. Saturday from the Warren ton Baptist Church by Dr. John W. Carlton, interim minister. Burial was in Fairview Cemetery at Warrenton. Mr. Robertson, son of the late David Lawrence and Angela Haithcock Robert son, and a well known farmer of Marmaduke, died on Wednesday night of last week at Colonial Lodge in Warrenton where he had spent several weeks. He was a director of Warren County Farm Bureau, a member of the Warren County ABC Board until his resignation due to poor health. He was secretary of the Warrenton Baptist Church Sunday School. He is survived by a sister, Mrs. Mabel Wil liamson of Acton, Mass., two nieces, Mrs. Eunice Cooke of Acton, Mass., and Mrs. Angier W. Wall of Charlotte , two nephews, L Owen Robertson. Jr , of Warrenton and David E. Robertson of Raleigh Active pallbearers were Elmer Harris, Thomas Gaskill, Stephen Daniel. Durwood Johnson, W A. Miles, Jan Pittman. COLLIE L. W ESTER HENDERSON - Funer al services for Mrs. Collie Lambert Wester, 92, of 619 Roseneath Road, Rich mond, Va., were conduct ed at 2 p. m. Friday from the Drewry United Metho dist Church by the Rev Michael Safley, assisted by the Rev. Jesse Matthews. Burial was in the New Hope Cemetery in Warren County. Mrs. Wester died Tues day in Richmond, Va. She was a native of Warren County and a member of Drewry United Methodist Church. She was the grandmother of William E. Lambert of 347 Alexander Avenue, Henderson. There are no immediate survivors. Active pallbearers were Wilson Fleming, William Ellington, C. G. Curtis, Jr., Robert Carver, James Edwards and Boyd C. Edwards, Jr. JOE BULLOCK Funeral services for Joe Nathan Bullock were held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Oak Level United Church of Christ in Drewry by the pastor, the Rev. Leon White. Burial was in the church cemetery. Mr. Bullock, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Walter Bullock, was born in Warren County on March 23,1906. He died November 15 in Maria Parh&m Hospital in Henderson. He was married to the late Jennie Ann Russell. Surviving are two daughters, Annie B. Woods and Lucy Meadows, both of Warrenton; three sons, Walter M. Bullock and the Rev. Herbert L. Bullock, both of Brooklyn, N. Y., and Alexander Bullock of Warrenton; one brother, Walter L. Bullock of Hightown, N. J.; 48 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were John Young, Scottie Robinson, Cleveland Davis, Lloyd Collins, George Alston and Henry Williams. JUNIUS G. AYSCUE LOUISBURG - Funeral services for Junius Green wood Ayscue, 57, who died Saturday, were conducted at 2 p. m. Tuesday from Alert Holiness Church. Burial was in the Pernell Family Cemetery. Mr. Ayscue is survived by his mother, Mrs. Lelie Ayscue of Rt. 2, Warren ton; a brother, Allie Ayscue of Rt. 2, Warren ton; and a sister, Mrs. Lillian Pernell of Rt. 6, Louisburg. CHARLIE BULLOCK Funeral services for Charlie Bullock. Jr., were conducted Sunday at 2 p. m. at Oak Level United Church of Christ by the Rev. R. D. Bullock, Jr. Burial was in the church cemetery. Frazier also praised the play of senior quarterback Ellington, who stepped in for Randy Garrett in the Eagles' fourth game, and led the Eagles to a 7-1 mark as a starter. "He's a tremendously smart player," Frazier said of Ellington, adding, "it's almost like having a coach on the field." Elling ton, a 193-pounder, entered the game with an impres sive 8.1 rushing average. Defensively for the Eagles the standouts were Stephon Kearney with 17 tackles and John Falcon with 12 stops.
