In Memoriam In memory of my mother, F.lla Hicks Faulkner, on Mother's Day. "Nobody knows of the work it takes To keep the home together; Nobody knows of the steps it takes. Nobody knows, but Mother. "Nobody listens to childish woes— Which only kisses smother; Nobody pained by naughty blowsNobody's hurt like Mother. "Nobody knows of the sleepless care Bestowed on baby brother; Nobody knows of the tender prayer, Nobody - only Mother. "Nobody knows of the lessons taught Of loving one another; Nobody knows of the patience sought, Nobody - only Mother. "Nobody knows of the anxious fears Lest darling may not weather The storms of life in after years Nobody knows - but Mother. "Come, let us kneel at the throne above To thank the heavenly Father For that Sweetest gift, a Mother's love, For love of our own dear Mother." DOROTHY NEWSOM WUe.N.C. In loving memory of our mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and aunt Mrs. Catherine Jeffries. Your memory is a keep sake, with which we shall never part, tho God has you in his keeping. We have you in our hearts. We cannot bring the past back, when we are all together but sacred tears and living thought will live with us forever. THE FAMILY In loving memory of our beloved mother, who departed this life May 9, 1967. Death beckoned her with outstretched hands And whispered softly of "An unknown land" But she was not afraid to go For though the path she did not know, She took death hand without a fear, For He who brought her safely here Had told her He would lead the way Into Eternity's bright day And so she did not go alone Into the "Valley That's Unknown." She gently took Death by the hand And journeyed to "The Promised Land" MALLISA, MARY AND CLARA GILFORD, WILBUR AND CHARLIE In memory of our dear mother Mrs. Tamar C. Park who passed away May 2,1972. Peace be thy rest, Dear Mother, It is sweet to breathe thy name. In life we loved you dearly, In death we do the same. We have lost our soul's companion. A life linked with our own; And day by day we miss her more, As we walk through life alone. Sadly missed, THE PARK FAMILY A Mother's Day tribute of love to our mother, Mamie E. Hight, who passed away November 23, 1969. You were such a wonderful mother, In every little way. No wonder that you're thought about With special love today.
