Faulkner West End Baptist Church in Henderson Aas the setting Sunday afternoon for the uniting in marriage of Miss Angela Kaye Newell and Anthony Neal Faulkner. The Rev. Robert Yates performed the double rir.? ceremony. The bride is the daughter of Jackie Glover Newell of Hen derson and the grand daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Glover of Warrenton. She is a graduate of Vance Senior High School and attended East Carolina University where she studied accounting. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Eddie Cox Faulkner of Hen derson. A graduate of Hargrave Military Academy, he is serving with the United States Marine Corps. Follow ing further training, he will be stationed in a Presidential Support Unit in Washington, D.C. Wedding music was presented by Mrs. Law rence Harris, a Hender son musician, Mrs. San dra Wood of Castalia, vocalist, and Miss Merri Amos of Henderson, handbell ringer. For the occasion, the church was decorated with a large all-white starburst arrangement of late summer flowers and a 15-braneh arch candelabrum flanked by twin 15-branch spiral candelbra. Two palm trees further enhanced the area and family pews were marked with summer flowers and greens. Escorted by her grandfather, Jack Glover, the bride wore a sleeveless gown of white silk taffeta with a sweet heart neckline accented by double bo.ra at the shoulders. Re-embroid ered Alencon lace and seed pearls trimmed the bodice and re embroidered lace en circled the full skirt at the hemline which ex tended to a cathedral length train. Her cathe dral veil of illusion, edged with Alencon lace, was attached to a Juliet cap of lace, sequins and pearls. Miss Kristye Lynne Newell, sister of the bride, was maid of honor. Serving as bridesmaids were Mrs. Kelly Thompson Reaves of Wilson, Mrs. Mary Susan Foster and Miss Betsy Ann Faulkner, both of Henderson. Miss Brook Hobgood of Henderson was flower girl. The groom's father served as best man. Groomsmen were Jeff Hale, Scott Currin and Gene Raynor, all of Hen derson Straughan H. W. Dixon, Jr. of Henderson was ring bearer. Miss Mary Cole pre sided at the guest registry and Mrs. Robert Yates directed the wedding. Reception Immediately follow ing the ceremony, the couple was entertained at a reception in the fellowship hall of the church. Hosting the function was the bride's mother. An easel, placed at the entrance, held a portrait of the bride. Guests were greeted by Mr. and Mrs. Early Wilder. The refreshment table, covered in white linen, held an arrangement of mixed summer flowers provided by Mr. and Mrs. Donald Peoples. Punch was served by Kay Wade. Bullock-West Vows Are Spoken Sheila Ann West of Warrenton and David Anthony Bullock of Roanoke Rapids were united in marriage August 26 at 3 p. m. at Rosemary Baptist Church in Roanoke Rapids. The Rev. C. Thomas Badkin officiated. The bride is the grand daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Theroy West of Warrenton. She is a graduate of Warren County High School. The groom is the son of Mrs. Betty C. The lace bodice f^iured a slightly raised waistline with a full skirt en hanced with lace motifs and bishop sleeves with lace inset and deep lace cuffs. The baby ruffle hem of the skirt extend ed into a chapel-length train. The bride's fingertip veil and blusher of nylon netting was attached to a ban deau-style headpiece of Chantilly lace accented with simulated pearl trim.
