the Nov. 20 session of
Warren County District
Court, disposing of the
following cases:
John Anderson, non
support of illegitimate
child, court ordered case
dismissed without pre
judice. As to failure to
appear, the defendant
was ordered to jail for
two days, sentence
suspended upon condi
tion that he pay a $25
fine.
Robert I/ee Bacthrope,
no driver's license and
endangering reckless
driving, called and fail
ed, arrest order issued,
bond set at $200.
Larry Boyd, assault
and battery and assault
with a deadly weapon in
flicting serious injury,
court found as a fact that
the defendant was in
competent to proceed
with the trial of these
charges and ordered that
he be committed to John
Umstead Hospital under
House Bill 95.
Helena Cheek, com
municating threats,
ordered to jail for 30
days, sentence suspend
ed for one year upon con
dition that the defendant
not molest or bother or
assault or threaten the
prosecuting witness and
pay the costs of court.
Ronnie Douglas Clay,
no driver's license, call
ed and failed.
George Cole, abandon
ment/non-support of
child, ordered to jail for
six months, sentence
suspended for five years
upon condition that the
defendant pay into the of
fice of the Clerk of
Superior Court the sum
of $20 each and every
week, court costs
remitted.
Stacey Thompson
Daniel, driving while im
paired, ordered to jail for
90 days, sentence
suspended and defendant
placed on unsuperivsed
probation for one year
upon condition that he
pay a $100 fine and court
costs, complete 24 hours
community service
within 30 days and pay
the $50 fee, complete the
Alcohol and Drug Educa
tion Traffic School and
pay the $50 fee and sur
render license and not
operate a motor vehicle
on the highways of N.C.
except as may be allow
ed in a limited driving
privilege, allowed 30
days to comply.
William W. Ellington,
assault and battery,
ordered to jail for 30
days, sentence suspend
ed for two years upon
condition that the defen
dant not assault anybody
and remain of good
behavior, court costs
remitted.

Eddie Lewis Gilchrist,

months, sentence
suspended and defendant
placed on supervised
probation for two years
upon condition that he
pay a $400 fine and court
costs, serve seven days
active in jail, obtain an
abuse assessment and
pay the $25 fee and sur
render license and not
operate a motor vehicle
on the highways of N.C.
for one year.
Elizabeth P. Harris,
speeding 65 in 55 mph
zone, found guilty of ex
ceeding posted speed,
ordered to pay a $10 fine
and court costs; defen
dant gave notice of ap
peal to the next criminal
session of Warren Coun
ty Superior Court.
Wilbert A. J. Hoff,
speeding 70 in 55 mph
zone, called and failed.

trespassing without a

order of forfeiture and
arrest order issued, bond
set at $200.
Charles Karsey, injury
to personal property,
dismissed with leave by
the prosecutor. ,
John Kearney, assault
inflicting serious injury,
ordered to jail for 30
days, sentence suspend
ed upon condition that
the defendant pay into
the office of the Clerk of
Superior Court the sum
of $150 restitution for the
use and benefit of the
prosecuting witness, pay
a $10 fine and court costs
and not molest or bother
the prosecuting witness.
