Lamar King (left) and Chris Stallings, sophomores at Warren Academy, have been selected by the Rural Education Institute of the School of Education at East Carolina University in Greenville to at tend the Legislators' School for Youth Leadership Development. One hundred fifty North Carolina high school students will attend the three week summer residential program which is funded by the N.C. General Assembly to target potential leaders within the state. Both students are members of the varsity baseball team and were co captains of the basketball team. Stallings is a member of the Student Council and the yearbook staff. He is a member of the Macon Bap tist Church and the son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert P. Stallings. King is a member of Jerusalem United Methodist Church and the son of Mr. and Mrs. C. C.
