' t v ... j III ' , L. 1 I , f -u DAN VII. LK, Va Oct. 9 Twelve cars of a freight train were wrecked yesterday afternoon near Dry Fork. The cars were loaded with merchan dise and the wreck is one of the worst that has occurred on the Southern foi months and entails a heavy loss anC seriously Interfered with traffic. Tin derailed cars were In the middle of the train, and the engine with four cars was cut loose from the train and proceeded on to Dry Fork. Four other rear cars were left standing on the track. The wrecked cars were badly smashed up audi piled in one congested heap. Some of (he cars were com pletely turned over, while others were standing on their sides. The track was torn up for a distance of over a hundred yards. The crew escaped in jury except Conductor Davidson, who was in charg. Mr. Davidson was injur- about the back, but not seriously hurt. The fact that more were not injured and theie were no fatalities was prob ably (hie to the wrecked cars being in the middle of the train. No other theory otherwise than that of the spreading of rails is given for the 'aiisc. About eight years ago I took to my bed with inllaminatory rheumatism, and was confined there for two years. To alleviate the intense sufferings I had to lake morphine, and in a short lime found that the habit was fasten .(d upon me. When 1 was again able ,to be up I commenced to investigate 'he various cures for my disease, and alter thorough investigation, and upon the advice of my family physician I d 'chUd to enter the Keeley Institute at Greensboro. After taking a six weeks' course of the treatment I was cured, and discharged on the eighth f .Lily. I!hi2. Before, taking the treat ment I honestly believe th!U it would have been death to me to he without Mie drug. Today I am thankful to ay I have not the bast desire for drugs i;f any kind, nor have I had since tak ing the treatment. My cure is abso lute and to any one who may lie so un fortunate as lo be aWeted to drugs of any nature I would earnestly rec-1 minuend the Keeley Treatment, and .specially the Greensboro Institute. My stay at the Institute was made is plrcsant as could be, and I was treated most kindly, and courteously hy the officers and physician, as were also all the other patients. H. C.
