granting license to sell liquor, as has
lately been decided by the highest court
of the State, that the Commissioners
have it in their power to refuse to grant
license In any county in the State,
without giving any reasons for it. In
view of the further fact that every dol
lar tax from liquor costs the county
seven or eight dollars in the way of
murders, fights, . brawls, etc, let the
Commissioners refuse to grant any more
licenses, and to this end let petitions be
circulated; in every district and town-
